Privacy Policy
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Fiminder is built on one rule: your bills are your business. This policy explains, in plain language, exactly what that means — for the app, and for this website.
The short version:
-
Fiminder has no accounts, no logins, and no server of ours that your financial data ever touches.
-
Everything you enter — bills, amounts, due dates, categories — is stored on your device only.
-
If you turn on sync, your data goes to your own iCloud account, not ours. We never see it, because it never passes through anything we run.
-
We don't sell data. We don't have any to sell.
The rest of this page covers what the App Store and privacy law expect to see spelled out — but the short version above is the whole truth, not a simplified version of a more complicated one.
Part 1: Fiminder App
1.1 What we collect
Nothing, by default. Fiminder does not require a sign-up, does not ask for your name, email or phone number, and does not link to your bank or any financial account.
What you put into the app — bill names, amounts, due dates, categories, and what you've marked paid — is stored locally in the app's own storage on your device. We have no server this data is sent to, and cannot see it.
1.2 Notifications
Fiminder schedules local reminders on your device so it can nudge you before a bill is due. These are scheduled and delivered entirely by iOS, on your phone — no reminder content is sent anywhere, including to us.
1.3 Optional Sync
If you switch on sync in Settings, your bills are copied into your own iCloud (iOS) using the storage you already have with Apple. This lets the same list appear on more than one of your own devices.
-
It uses the Apple account already signed into your device — Fiminder does not ask for a separate login.
-
Your data is stored in your account, under your control, subject to Apple's own terms for iCloud — not ours.
-
If sync is off, nothing about your bills ever leaves your device.
1.4 App lock - Face ID, Touch ID, Passcode
If you turn on the optional app lock, unlocking is handled entirely by your phone's own operating system. Fiminder asks iOS "is this the phone's owner?" and gets back a yes or no — it never receives your fingerprint, your face, or your passcode, and cannot see or store any of it. That data stays inside your device's own secure hardware, exactly as it does for every other app that offers Face ID or Touch ID.
1.5 Purchases
Fiminder offers an optional Lifetime purchase and an optional Monthly subscription, handled entirely by the Apple App Store. When you buy, your payment details go to Apple — never to us. We only receive confirmation of what you bought, so the app can unlock the right features; we do not receive your card number, billing address, or any other payment information.
1.6 What we don't do
-
No advertising, and no ad networks embedded in the app.
-
No analytics tracking your usage inside the app.
-
No selling, renting or sharing of your data — there is none of yours on our side to share.
-
No location tracking.
1.7 Children
Fiminder is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13 (or the minimum age that applies where you live). Since the app collects nothing in the first place, there is nothing to have collected.
1.8 Your data, your control
Because everything lives on your device — and, if you choose, your own cloud account — you're always in control of it, wherever you are:
-
To see it: open the app.
-
To delete it: delete the bill, or uninstall the app. If sync is on, also remove Fiminder's data from your iCloud account settings.
There's no account for us to delete on our end, because there's no account.
Part 2: This Website
fiminder.com
This site runs on a hosted website platform. Like most such platforms, it may use cookies and collect some technical data automatically (general location, browser type, pages visited) to serve the site and give us basic visitor statistics. This is separate from the app above, and is standard for almost any website you visit.
-
Cookies: this site may use cookies for functionality and basic analytics, set by our hosting platform. You can control cookies through your browser, and — where required — we'll show a cookie preference banner.
-
Contact or waitlist forms: anything you type into a form on this site (like your email address) is sent to us so we can reply, and used for nothing else.
-
No sale of personal data. We don't sell visitor data, and don't allow third parties to use it for their own advertising.
Changes to the above policy
If this changes — for example when Android ships, or a new feature changes what data moves where — we'll update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will also show up in the app's own release notes.
